Quick and Easy Coleslaw

Coleslaw is a staple at any American BBQ and this recipe is quick, easy, and tasty.

You can throw this slaw on a BBQ sandwich or just enjoy it on it’s own, but either way you are sure to enjoy it!

INGREDIENTS

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

MARINADE TIME: 2 HOURS

INGREDIENTS:

3 CUPS CHOPPED GREEN CABBAGE

2 CUPS CHOPPED RED CABBAGE

1 CUP SHREDDED CARROTS

3/4 CUP MAYONNAISE

1 TBSP DISTILLED WHITE VINEGAR

1/2 TBSP APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

3-4 TBSP DAN-O’S ORIGINAL SEASONING (or seasoning of your choice)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, you need to chop up your cabbage and carrots. I like to chop them finely, but it’s almost impossible to do this incorrectly. Just chop it up however YOU prefer your coleslaw to be!

  2. Add the cabbage and carrots to a large mixing bowl.

  3. Add 3/4 CUP of mayonnaise

  4. Add 1 TBSP of distilled white vinegar.

  5. Add 1/2 TBSP of apple cider vinegar.

  6. Add 3-4 TBSP of Dan-O’s Original Seasoning (or seasoning of your choice). You can find a link below that will take you to Dan-O’s website where you can grab some!

  7. Mix the coleslaw thoroughly, cover it, and store it in the fridge for 2 hours before serving. This will allow all of the flavors to marinate.

  8. Add this slaw to a BBQ sandwich, or simply enjoy on it’s own!
